VECI™ – Velocity Empty Chamber Indicator

The Velocity Empty Chamber Indicator (VECI™) is a magazine-style empty chamber indicator designed specifically for AR-15 pattern rifles. Unlike traditional chamber flags that can be dislodged or fall free, the VECI inserts directly into the magazine well, providing a highly visible indication that the firearm is clear while physically preventing a magazine from being inserted.
 
The VECI is intentionally designed not to drop free when the magazine release is pressed. Instead, it must be manually stripped from the magazine well, reducing the possibility of the indicator being accidentally released if the magazine catch is bumped during transport, handling, or training.

Its integrated chamber flag extends through the action to provide a clear visual confirmation that the chamber is empty while preventing a live round from being chambered.
